Spruce Grove and Stony Plain Food Drive - Saturday, May 12, 2012
A city-wide food and bottle drive will be taking place May 12 throughout Spruce Grove and Stony Plain.
Volunteers will be going from house to house between 9am and 1pm to collect bottles and non-perishable food items.
Organized by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Parkland Ward. This will be the second annual food drive of its kind in support of the Parkland Food Bank, and we need your help to make it a success!
If your house has not been visited by 1pm, please call 780 962-4565.
Suggested items for donation:
- Peanut Butter (500g jars)
- Pasta and Pasta Sauce
- Macaroni and cheese dinners
- Powdered milk
- Juice (1L cartons)
- Beans with or without pork
- Canned meat and fish
- Canned fruit and vegetables
- Cereal
